UN Women Executive Board Convenes in New York

The First Regular Session of the UN Women Executive Board 2012 will be held from Tuesday 24 to Wednesday 25 January. The agenda of this session includes the election of Bureau members of the Executive Board for 2012; and the Board’s consideration of the report on the operational activities of UN Women to be presented by Ms. Bachelet.

One Year On: UN Women Widens Donor Base, Strengthens Partnerships

UN Women commemorates its first anniversary this month with 114 governments contributing to core funds in 2011, resulting in a 73 percent increase in core funding compared to the combined budget of its former four predecessors the year prior.
